Chairperson & Chief Executive Officer

DR CAMERON HOGAN  PhD, LLD, FAIA, CA(AIA) FVCLP, FIML, MYWA, AGIA,ANZAM(R), lives in Victoria. He is semi-retired and is the Acting CEO of the AIA. He is an advocate, Independent Chair, Adjudicator, Policy & Governance expert, Political Commentator, Criminologist, Youth Worker and served a term in Municipal Politics. He serves on a number of association Boards and holds a holds Fellowships and professional memberships/ accreditations of industry focused membership organizations. He has been an LGBTQIA+ advocate, Mental Health Advocate, Youth Advocate and a political advocate working for state and federal politicians, a campaign director, political party official., a CEO and corporate Director. He is based in Victoria.

Deputy Chairperson

JOHN SIER FAIA, FREI, FAPI FRICS[London], FAIV, FDAI lives in Eildon in the Alexandra region of Victoria. He is a retired Bail Justice, a retired ADF Warrant Officer, Property Consultant, Certified  Valuer, Surveyor, Licensed Real Estate Agent and Academic. John holds various qualifications and Industry Fellowships including a Masters of Business Administration [MBA]. John Serves on the Board of the Derek Amos Institute for Public and Political Affairs. He is highly respected practitioner in the Real Estate Industry. He has lectured at Box Hill Institute in the proerty and real estate agent courses. He is based in Victoria.

Secretary/Treasurer

IRINI CASEY - VERIKIOS AFAIA, FVCLP lives in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne and is a vocational education compliance expert and instructional design who runs her own education consultancy RTO Consulting where she is CEO. She has worked in the RTO sector for over twenty five years.  Irini is a Fellow and Graduate of the Victorian Community Leadership Program and hold's various other accreditation's and qualifications. She has worked in management and advocacy for some of Australia's largest private academic companies.  Irini is recognized as one of Victoria's premier education compliance experts and has served on various boards and committees for over twenty years. relating to the vocational and higher education sectors. She is based in Victoria.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR HOWARD SERCOME  PhD, FAIA, MYWA, AASA, lives in Sydney NSW and is  Course  Leader in the Bachelor of Youth Work at Western Sydney University. He has made significant contributions Nationally state wide and internationally to the youth work  sector and is a long career in Youth Work and advocating for young people.  His PhD significantly focused on a number of areas affecting young  people. He is a significantly published academic. Howard is a sought after public speaker with an international profile.  He is a writer, able to  render complex ideas and contested arguments into clear and accessible narratives and an able  community/youth work/social work practitioner experienced in working with and advocating for embattled  constituencies in difficult situations.   He is based in New South Wales.

DEREK AMOS FAIA(Patron), CA(AIA), FDAI(Life), MMIA, OAM, JP lives in East Gippsland in Victoria and is a  is semi retired however is Managing Director of his own business consultancy. He is a retired politician and mental health advocate. Derek served four terms in the Victorian State Parliament as the Member for Morwell and as a long term Shadow Minister and subsequently served as a Councilor for the Latrobe City Council. Derek devoted his life to people with mental Health illness and spent over forty years advocating for them in courts and tribunals. He was awarded for his service to politics the British Empire Medal and later the Order of Australia Medal for Services to people and the community. He has served on many committees, committees of inquiry and boards during his career. He is based in Victoria.

JOE LAPONE AAIA lives on the outskirts of Darwin in the Northern Territory and is a marine scientist that advocates for our waterways and the various creatures that live in them Educated in Melbourne he initially worked as a ranger before moving to Darwin. He is based in Northern Territory.

PETER HANSON AFAIA is a Political Advocate, Liaison and Advisor that holds a Masters degree in Economics. He has been involved in advocating for various political policy  for almost ten years. He servers on a  number of Boards relating to Banking, Finance and Economics. and lives approximately 480km North of Perth Western Australia

DR JOHN CALDOW PhD, FAIA, FDAI is an educator and environmental advocate for almost forty years. He lives in the Great Alpine region and as dedicated much of his life to educating primary school children regarding the wonders of small creatures that inhabit our native bushlands and forests. He advocates for the preservation of our native bush lands and forests the small creatures that live in these areas and the possible unknown insects and bugs. Dr Caldow has been CEO of the Bug Blitz foundation for over twenty years. He is based in Victoria.
