DEREK AMOS FAIA(Patron), CA(AIA), FDAI(Life), MMIA, OAM, JP lives in East Gippsland in Victoria and is a  is semi retired however is Managing Director of his own business consultancy. He is a retired politician and mental health advocate. Derek served four terms in the Victorian State Parliament as the Member for Morwell and as a long term Shadow Minister and subsequently served as a Councilor for the Latrobe City Council. Derek devoted his life to people with mental Health illness and spent over forty years advocating for them in courts and tribunals. He was awarded for his service to politics the British Empire Medal and later the Order of Australia Medal for Services to people and the community.
