The Advocacy Institute of Australia, (the AIA) is an Incorporated Association under the stringent conditions of the Victorian Associations Incorporations Reform Act 2012.
We are established to make sure that individual, corporate, business and political clients receive the best possible service from advocate who represent or act on their behalf.
We achieve this through ongoing training of our members, professional development for our members and appropriate recognition of members in the advocacy field including lawyers, lobbyists, advocates and people that act for a client that meet the criteria to join our organization.
We have a significant complaints procedure that can be used by anyone that feels that they have not been given an appropriate service by an advocate who is one of our members. this ensures a client gets the absolute best possible work from advocates who are members of our Institute.
Advocates are not always legal professionals or lawyers so they do not profess to be so however some of our members act as advocates that are lawyers or have legal backgrounds.
Our Mission
At the Advocacy Institute of Australia, our mission is to ensure our members provide high-quality services to their clients while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethics. We strive to ensure that any advocate exceeds their clients' expectations by delivering superior results and exceptional service through our advocacy work and through the advocacy industry.
Advocates can not guarantee results and should never be paid for or gain bonuses for outcomes.
Advocates should be paid their original quoted fee reflecting the work done to gain a particular outcome and with that in mind provide a timely ethical and professional service. this ensures the purity and ethical work of an advocate.
