Now that our Certified Advocate Summer School is complete with a number of students graduating as Certified Advocates, we are looking towards our Winter Summer School. It will have some new trainers and previous trainers Fortunately the price will remain the same.

The free membership for the month of April 2025 has been extended by our Board to continue through the month of May. This is to encourage new membership through our ongoing membership drive which is a primary focus of the Institute. Apply for membership through the enquiries page and we will get back to you within two business days regarding the next steps.

Our Board has recently formalized our Core Business. Basically itw already what we do however it is now official. These are the elements of our Core Business below:

• Membership and membership gradings,
• Training and certifying advocates beyond membership recognition,
• Industry engagement and regular consultations with industry,
• Beyond other codes of conduct that members may be subject to developing a code of conduct for all Advocates.

Our administration has been put in place with the appointment of an Executive Officer. Jamie Hogan has taken on this role in an honorary capacity. This role has a specific job specification and is seperate from the duties of the Board Secretary. Jamie's personal office and staff will form our head office or secretariate. The day to day operations of the AIA will now be undertaken from there under the guidance of the AIA Board.
