Our Mission

At Advocacy Institute of Australia, our mission is to ensure our member provide high-quality services to their clients while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethics. We strive to exceed our clients' expectations by delivering superior results and exceptional customer service through our advocacy work and through the advocacy industry.

History

The Advocacy Institute was established based on the professional advocacy practices of Derek Amos OAM a former member of Parliament an d mental health advocate and Cameron Hogan PhD a renowned  youth advocate and lobbyist.


 Thus a significant need was discovered  to recognize the experience and various qualificationd form an industry focused based organization and train advocates accross Australia with up to date information and changes in the growing advocacy field. 


In 2022 former Mayor of Latrobe rural city in Victoria Cr Dale Harriman was the founding Chairperson of the AIA with a board consisting of a small group of additional eminant members including Dr CF Jamie Hogan, Derek Amos, John Sier Retired Bail Juistice and Irini Casey an Academic Compliace Director to develop the institute into an incorporated association and establish what the core business, mission and objectives of such an organization could look like as a recognized membership body providing recognition and accreditation for advocates accross Australia

Our members are experienced ethical professionals who are dedicated to providing their clients with the best possible service. We have a diverse grading level that identifies the experience, qualifications and expertise in various areas of the advocacy industry.
